The Allegheny Cup Story!

"Look what you've done! Where did you find all of these 50 riders?"~ George Teslovich (Latrobe Speedway June 25, 2010).

Give me 50~50s has been a very successful part of the rebuilding process of District 5, starting at Latrobe Speedway; a wonderful venue for arenacross in an excellent location. All of the promoters and officers of District 5 feel that it is time to reach out to other districts and share in what we feel has been a very good program that has helped restore the sport. We all feel that with the economy and time commitments to work and study, another long time consuming qualifying series is not what the entry level racer wants or even needs. Our hope is that The Allegheny Cup will allow you to taste the finest traditions of motocross racing as new riders enjoy our sport, friendships are formed and family time is spent well together.

For 2011, The Allegheny Cup has been expanded to focus on all classes of junior competition. Big bikes will also run for some incredible prizes on the same day!

Obviously this race will attract a variety of racing talent and we have chosen this date so as not to interfere with any other nationally known championship series.

Rocket Raceway is open to practice almost all the time, we always allow free camping and the prices for practice are very reasonable. You are encouraged to practice the track at any time the facility is open. Call before heading out 814-448-2701.

Rocket Raceway was chosen because of it's central location to PA, MD, WV, and reasonable driving distance from VA, NY, NJ and Ohio. Rocket Raceway is on the junction of AMA District 5, 6 and 7 boundaries AND is now an MDRA track!

The industry, the AMA and the other racers are all grateful to YOU the CUSTOMER for spending your time with us, we appreciate it!
